Q - Why should I use a professional speech writer?

A   - Using a professional writer is beneficial for two main reasons, 1) using a speech writer will save you an enormous amount of time and 2) give you a considerable creative edge that will set your address apart from others.   A professional writer will be able to tailor your speech to suit your needs and individual character, giving it an extra albeit memorable dimension.   It is an opportunity for you to learn and observe how a dynamic speech is crafted so in future, this type of service will not be necessary.   By using Podium Prose you receive a great product as well as the chance to learn a craft that will serve you in the future.

Q - Can I afford to hire Podium Prose?

A - Can you afford not to?   But really, while we operate from a standard set of rates, discussed at every consultation, we can also tailor our hours worked to suit your budget.   We can craft parts of a speech for a client and leave an outline to be filled in or write the entire address and include speaker consultation.   How much or how little you spend is up to you.   You can always benefit from the input of a professional speech writer.

Q - Do I have to have speaker coaching?

A - No.   Again we will be as involved in your presentation/speech as you want us to be. Some clients, after the initial meeting, can be satisfied with an e-mail relationship resulting in the desired final project, while other clients may desire more in-person contact and coaching.   The choice is yours.

Q - What if I don't like the first draft?

A - You, the client, receive the first two minutes of a speech before a complete draft is ever written.   Hopefully within those two minutes the tone and style are obvious and you have the opportunity to approve and go to a first draft or decline the service.   Once a first draft has been completed, whether or not you choose to go to a second or final draft, a fee will apply for that completed draft.   The Podium Prose process is collaborative and therefore it is unusual for a client to be so dissatisfied as to abandon the project.   Our writers work for you and will do their best at all times to fulfill the goals of the speech you require.

Q - Can I just use the links and resources provided on your website and try to write my own speech?

A - Of course.   Learning to use language as a way to motivate, inspire, entertain and educate people is a skill we will all benefit from.   Our thoughts and dreams are so vivid, so moving and yet so few of us can articulate all that we wish to communicate.   The more time we spend learning how to better communicate the more connected we become.   New media is simply pretty to look at if there is no meaning coming across it.   Technology simply remains technology until ideas and people flourish along with it.   Words will always be the transportation for ideas.   Put some pizzazz in your text messages and some 'wow' in your e-mails.   See how your life will change when you use your words skillfully.   By all means, use these links to become a better writer
